Where Great Hair Begins!
Hair By Jell began as a home-based salon in the Whitsundays in 2021 and grew into a full-service salon at the shopping centre in Cannonvale by 2024. Founded by Majella Ennis, a trained hair extension specialist who travelled to China to find ethically sourced hair extensions. She offers personalised hairdressing services, premium Jelle Hair Extensions, Keune hair products, and expert care for men, women and children.
Our team is trained in cuts, colours, lived-in blondes, balayage, keratin treatments, and styling for all occasions. We also provide brow tinting, lash tinting and waxing. With a strong focus on quality and customer service, Hair By Jell stands out for manufacturing its own extensions and being a 2025 hair extensions award finalists. You’ll find us proudly serving Cannonvale, Airlie Beach and the wider Whitsundays.

Senior Stylist
Michaela has been a stylist for over 20 years. With a passion for cutting, she excels at creating styles that compliment her client’s natural beauty. Michaela is dedicated to making sure every client leaves with a look that boosts their confidence.
Sarah
Senior Stylist
With over 20 years of experience in the hair industry, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the salon. Her strengths lie in colour work and men's cuts, where her precision and creativity truly shine. Sarah is passionate about helping every client feel confident and refreshed, tailoring each style to suit their individual personality and lifestyle. With a warm and professional approach, Sarah is dedicated to delivering high-quality results and a salon experience you'll look forward to every time.

Senior Stylist
With over 35 years of experience in the hair industry, this talented stylist, Jackie, originally from the Gold Coast, brings a wealth of knowledge and confidence to the salon floor. She has a true passion for cutting and specialises in creating precise, flattering styles tailored to each client. Known for her attention to detail and timeless techniques, she delivers consistently beautiful results. Her warm, down-to-earth nature makes every appointment feel relaxed and enjoyable, leaving clients feeling refreshed, confident, and perfectly styled.
Rita
2nd Year Apprentice
Rita is our apprentice and an essential part of our team. Rita has picked things up quickly and has become our right-hand person, always willing to step in and help wherever needed. Her positive attuite and strong work ethic makes her a go-to for everyone at the salon. We're excited to watch her grow and continue contribute to the success of the salon.
Isla
School Based Apprentice / Junior
Isla started out in the salon as a junior, helping out behind the scenes and learning the flow of working in a salon. After showing a real interest in hair and a love for the creative side of the job, she's now beginning her school-based apprenticeship. With over a year of hands-on experience already, Isla is excited to take the next step and start building her skills in cutting, colouring, and styling. Her friendly nature and eagerness to learn make her a great fit for the team and a future talent in the making.
Kylee
Junior Apprentice
Our first-year apprentice Kaylee is a passionate and dedicated emerging stylist who is quickly building her skills in the salon. She has a natural ability to make clients feel comfortable and cared for, with a warm and friendly approach. Known for delivering an incredible, relaxing head massage, she ensures every client enjoys a moment of calm during their visit. Eager to learn and grow, she brings great energy to the team and is committed to providing a beautiful salon experience from start to finish.
